Physiotherapy treatment helps people of all ages to reduce pain and improve movement. We aim to restore normal movement. We will also give you advice and a plan to prevent reccurrence of your symptoms.
Yes. Our aim is to reduce your pain and discomfort as soon as possible.
You can come as you are. The physiotherapist will need to see the affected body part during your assessment and treatment, so be prepared to take your top off if you have spinal pain or a shoulder injury. We’d recommend that females wear a string top. If your hip or leg is the injured area, it is best to wear or bring shorts.
A first appointment may take up to 40 minutes, all other appointments are 30 minutes
No, GP referrals are not necessary to have physiotherapy.
If you have any GP referral letters, or reports from scans such as an MRI or an x-ray, please bring a copy for inclusion on your file.
If on assessment, we feel your condition requires medical attention, with your permission, we will refer you on to an appropriate physician.
We accept cash, cheque or debit card. You can also pay for your treatment on our website. We automatically email receipts unless you request otherwise. Payment must be made after each consultation.
Yes.
All major Irish Health Insurance providers offer refunds for treatment by a Chartered Physiotherapist. We are Chartered Physiotherapists and CORU registered
To check your level of cover, please refer to your own policy for its terms and conditions.
Whatever you cannot claim back from your health insurance provider can be claimed back on the Med 1 Form available on the Revenue Online website www.revenue.ie
